With over 20 years of experience, Thiago has been leading the  Project Finance, Credit Transactions and Banking Law practice at Dias Carneiro Advogados since 2010. He stands out for his experience in complex financing transactions of different modalities, debt restructuring and M&A deals. His work for renowned financial institutions (including DFIs), private equity funds and corporate clients in financing, restructuring and m&a projects has been recognized by several publications and been praised by clients and peers, having received many awards for his role (and the team under his leadership) in transactions awarded Deals of the Year by different publications

In 2002 and 2003, Thiago worked at the international firm Coudert Brothers LLP in Washington, DC (USA), dedicated to financial transactions, mergers, acquisitions, and infrastructure projects.
