Roberto Henne

Roberto Henne Filho is an associate in the Tax practice area at Dias Carneiro Advogados.

He has experience in tax issues involving direct and indirect taxes, and social contributions, social security and interventional contributions.

Roberto provides preventive tax consulting, including advice on tax planning issues, structuring and cross-border procedures, especial customs procedures. He also advises clients in matters related to tax incentives, transfer pricing and thin capitalization rules, double tax treaties and international trade conventions, taxation of packages of executives and employees allocated to Brazil (including stock option plans), among others.

Roberto works together with other areas of the firm in structuring mergers and acquisitions (M & A), Project Finance, financial restructuring (including judicial recoveries) and high-net worth individuals.

He participates in the analysis and review of tax and accounting procedures of the companies, as well as due diligence. In the tax litigation area, he defends taxpayers in the administrative and judicial spheres.

Before studying law, Roberto was an entrepreneur, acquiring practical experience in the tax and accounting business reality.
