Renata Arcoverde is a lawyer with over ten years of experience leading highly complex matters in the areas of competition and international trade law, compliance, and internal investigations, as well as solid experience in negotiations with authorities and in structuring compliance programs.

She conducts internal investigations starting from investigations initiated by the Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE) and negotiates settlements with the authority, in addition to leniency agreements, bringing potential anticompetitive conduct to the authority’s attention. She also files merger notifications with CADE, successfully obtaining unconditional clearance for transactions that are challenging from a competition merits perspective.
