André Brickmann Areno

André has broad expertise in cross-border and onshore M&A deals, Financing, Commercial Contracts, Corporate Law, Listed Companies and Corporate Governance. For 12 years he was the head of the legal departments of Gerdau and Ultrapar, where he also acquired significant experience in areas of corporate general interest, such as Compliance, Tax, Labor, Energy and Litigation. He was an international associate at Shearman Sterling in New York between 2002 and 2003, with a focus in capital markets.
