Dias Carneiro expands its activities in Insurance and Reinsurance upon admission of a new partner.
Dias Carneiro Advogados announces a reinforcement in its group of partners upon admission of Gustavo Lasalvia, who shall be the leader partner in the Insurance and Reinsurance area. Upon admission of Gustavo on July 1, the full service firm has now 21 partners.
Lasalvia has 20 years of experience, having focused his activities on the general insurance and regulatory sector.
Gustavo is highly experienced in representing insurance companies and insured persons in connection with strategic litigations and the preparation thereof, acting in connection with regulation of complex insurance claims, mainly huge risks involving transports, industries, infrastructure works, among others. Gustavo also advises clients in placing insurances and negotiating policies clauses, having been a pioneer in creating and managing important dispute resolution programs in national and international scale. Furthermore, Lasalvia conducts administrative proceedings before SUSEP, assisting insurance and reinsurance companies in inspections and defenses, as well as guiding them in the application of the insurance regulatory rules, in whose production he usually participates in the context of public consultations.
Before becoming a partner of Dias Carneiro, Gustavo worked for reputed firms, and he was awarded by reputed national and international publications.
