Dias Carneiro Strengthens its Real Estate Department with New Partner
In early January, renowned full-service law firm Dias Carneiro Advogados announced the promotion of former associate Paulo Afonso Tavares Rodrigues to partner, in a move that bolsters the firm’s Real Estate practice.
Mr. Tavares has over 10 years of experience in the market, with an impressive track record, having previously worked for distinguished law firms such as Stocche Forbes Advogados, Machado Meyer Advogados and BMA – Barbosa Müssnich Aragão. At DCA, he has successfully assisted in many complex deals involving the direct and indirect acquisition of urban and rural real estate properties, the development of real estate projects and the granting of real properties guarantees, amongst others.
Academically, Mr. Tavares holds a Bachelor of Laws from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie and a specialization degree in Corporate Law from CEU-IICS Escola de Direito.
