Paulo Afonso Tavares Rodrigues

Paulo Afonso Tavares Rodrigues is the head of the Real Estate Practice at Dias Carneiro Advogados.

He has over 10 years of experience in real estate law, working in large national firms, advising clients in Brazil and abroad. Paulo Afonso has assisted complex deals involving the direct and indirect acquisition of urban and rural real estate properties, the development of real estate entrepreneurships, grating of real properties guarantees, among other legal structures related to the occupation of real properties.

He has an extensive experience on real estate registry law, acting on several administrative rectification procedures, land subdivision, real estate developments, extrajudicial rectification of registries, among other landholding matters.

Paulo Afonso has acted on the structuring of relevant real estate complexes in the city of São Paulo, that are already completed or currently under construction.

The professional advised clients in the acquisition of rural real estate properties in the States of Pará and Maranhão, dedicated to the port enterprises installation. Paulo Afonso also worked in several acquisitions related to agribusiness, in the North, Northeast and Midwest Regions.
