Maurício Veiga

Maurício Veiga is a Counsel in the Corporate, Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) and Infrastructure practices at Dias Carneiro Advogados.

With over 12 years of experience, Maurício focuses his practice on M&A, private equity transactions and infrastructure projects, both in Brazil and cross-border. He also advises on direct asset sales, joint ventures, corporate transactions and due diligence processes, with significant experience in the financial, energy, life sciences, pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.

Maurício holds a Bachelor of Laws from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), a Master of Science in Decision Making and Applied Analytics from the innovative Minerva University in Silicon Valley (San Francisco, USA) and completed an exchange program in the International Business Law LLM at Tilburg University (The Netherlands).

In 2023, he was nominated for the Future Leader Award by Chambers and Partners Brazil.
