US technology company DigitalReef has enlisted Wick Phillips in Dallas, Brazilian firm Dias Carneiro Advogados and Arias in Nicaragua and Panama to acquire IMOX Technologies.
IMOX hired Asesorarme in Tegucigalpa.
The deal closed on 23 July with no value disclosed.
The transaction forms part of DigitalReef’s recent launch in the market. The US company set up shop in June, announcing itself as a mobile marketing and advertising platform through the acquisition of several digital advertising and marketing companies, including IMOX. Brazilian Flowsense, Dallas-based marketing company Imagination Unwired, Lemmonet and MobTarget were also purchased by DigitalReef.
Using advanced artificial intelligence, DigitalReef provides services that can accurately target demographics on behalf of advertisers. With headquarters in Miami, DigitalReef is present in 10 countries, including Argentina, Brazil and Mexico. DigitalReef’s clients include Amazon, Heineken and Starbucks.
IMOX offers carriers, retailers and handset manufacturers a platform to improve business intelligence. The company is based in Miami and has operations in Nicaragua and Panama.
