With more than 20 years of experience, Thiago Vallandro Flores is the head of the  Project Financing, Credit Transactions, Banking Law and Capital Markets practice at Dias Carneiro Advogados since 2010. Since then, he has stood out for his role in the context of complex financing transactions of different modalities, debt restructuring and M&A deals.

His expertise has been recognized by several entities and publications in the industry. Chambers Latin America 2019 has highlighted his work with major financial institutions and corporate clients in financing and restructuring projects. In the renowned International Financial Law Review (IFLR 1000) directory, he appeared in the “Highly Regarded Lawyer” category, in the 2018 edition.

In the Leaders League publication, he was among the most voted professionals in the Brazilian legal market, recognized as a “Rising Star” in the Banking & Finance category. Lacca Approved, an annual survey conducted by the Latin American Corporate Counsel Association, pointed out Thiago as a reference in his field. Who’s Who Legal has listed his name as a prominent professional in Project Financing.

Thiago has also held a position as Chair (officer) of the Innovations in Financing Transactions Subcommittee for the Banking Law Committee of the International Bar Association for years, until 2017.

Between 2002 and 2003, Thiago worked at Coudert Brothers LLP  in Washington, DC, USA, dedicated to financial transactions, mergers, acquisitions and infrastructure projects.
