Deadline for the submission of RAIS 2018
On February 14, 2019, the Ministry of Economy Ordinance No. 39 set forth instructions for the submission of the Annual Social Information List (Relação Anual de Informações Sociais – RAIS) base-year 2018.
The term for the submission of the RAIS has started and will end on April 5th, 2019.
Due to the lack of the ESocial–RAIS integration, companies that have had labor relationships during 2018 shall submit their RAIS electronically through the GDRAIS2018 program available for download at the Ministry of Labor website or RAIS’ portal.
Companies that had no employees or that remained inactive during 2018 shall submit the zeroed RAIS statement, with the relevant data. Individual Micro entrepreneurs are released of such obligations.
