Covid-19 | Activities of State Commercial Registry of São Paulo and term for retroactive effects of corporate acts
According to the statement released in the webpage of the State Commercial Registry of São Paulo (JUCESP), its activities will resume as of today, May 12, 2020, upon execution of services on a limited basis.
Pursuant to article 6, item I of the Executive Order 931, enacted by the Federal Government on March 30, the 30-day term for the retroactive effects of corporates acts executed after February 16, 2020 should be counted as of the date the relevant commercial registry resumed the regular rendering of its services.
Considering that the services are being resumed as of today, the corporate acts subject to registration with JUCESP, which execution occurred between February 16, 2020 and the date hereof, need to be filed for registration until June 11 of the current year for the effects thereof to retroact to their date of execution.
