Dias Carneiro Advogados and Hunton Andrews Kurth advised IDB, IDB Invest and Canadian Climate Fund on the financing to Banco Cooperativo Sicredi for the fostering of green projects in Brazil.
As part of the Private Sector in the Americas (C2F) project, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), IDB Invest and the Canadian Climate Fund provided a USD 110 million loan to Banco Cooperativo Sicredi in Brazil.
The financing will allow Sicredi to increase its lending portfolio for companies and individuals that promote low carbon projects through renewable energy and energy efficiency and other projects that contribute to greenhouse gas emission reduction in Brazil.
